Learning to Let Go

Welcome to my “Learning to Let Go Workshop” which is a crash course on letting go of your inner critic, while learning to draw the body. This course will be running for the rest of the year, and is a perfect complement to my Saturday Figure & Life Drawing Classes. Please see below for practical exercises.

Exercises:

  1. Writing exercises – write out your blurts and turn them into positive narratives. Continue to do this actively as the session progresses. (10 minutes)
  2. Facial breakdown (5 minutes)
  3. Apply the facial breakdown to a portrait on pinterest (25 minutes)
  4. Body breakdown (5 minutes)
  5. Apply the breakdown to a body on pinterest (25 minutes)
  6. Hand breakdown (5 minutes)
  7. Apply the hand breakdown to a hand on pinterest (25 minutes)
  8. Foot breakdown apply the foot breakdown to a foot on pinterest (25 minutes)
  9. Writing exercise – write out your blurts and turn them into positive narratives ( 5 minute explanation, 10 minutes exercise)
